What Are Wax Melts?

Wax melts are a flame-free way to fragrance your home. These small scented pieces of wax are placed into a wax burner — either electric or tea light powered — where they gently warm and release their aroma into the air.

Unlike candles, wax melts do not burn away with a wick. Instead, they slowly lose their fragrance over time while the wax remains in the dish, ready to be replaced once the scent fades.

Rapeseed wax is a renewable crop grown in Europe, making it a more sustainable choice compared to soy sourced overseas. Blended with coconut wax, it creates a smooth, creamy melt with excellent fragrance performance.

How to Use Wax Melts

  1. Break off a piece of your wax bar or use 1-2 melts.
  2. Place it into the dish of your wax burner.
  3. Use either:
    • An electric wax burner, or
    • A 4-hour tea light in a traditional burner.
  4. Allow the wax to gently melt and release fragrance.

For safety, do not burn tea lights for longer than 4 hours at a time. Always allow your burner to cool before replacing the wax.

Are Your Wax Melts Non-Toxic?

My wax melts are made using a Rapeseed & Coconut Wax blend and carefully selected fragrance oils. I ensure all products are CLP compliant and created with safety in mind.

As with all home fragrance products:

  • Use in a well-ventilated space
  • Keep away from children and pets
  • Never leave a lit burner unattended
